Teresa Magnussen
Regional Executive Director: Region 1 & Interim Region 6
Teresa Magnussen serves as the Regional Executive Director for Region 1 and Interim for Region 6 at Imagine the Possibilities. Teresa began her career at Imagine in 2020 as a Regional Executive Director. She notes that the roles that aided in her career development include Development Director, Corporate Events Coordinator, and Compliance & Quality Officer at previous companies. Teresa is intentional with the use of her skills and experience. She believes that her work ethic in the Human Services field contributes to the growth, compliance, mentorship, and education at Imagine the Possibilities. Teresa is a proud community servant and has been on an Adult Advisory Committee for Rolling Hils Mental Disability Service Region and a Cherokee County Residential Service Housing Committee.
Kimberly Kuhn
Regional Executive Director: Region 2
Kimberly Kuhn serves as the Regional Executive Director for Region 2 at Imagine the Possibilities. Kim began her career as an HCBS Programmer in 2019. She has since served as a Director of Services before Regional Executive Director. However, Kim began her career in the non-profit sector in 1995, where she relentlessly fought for the advocacy of individuals with disabilities. She explained that she has since built her career around ensuring that individuals with disabilities are treated equally as your “neighbor.” Kim is fiercely passionate about improving the lives of others. She takes on new challenges often and believes that through focused efforts and persistence, positive results will follow. Kim is thankful for the opportunities Imagine the Possibilities has given her, and she expresses gratitude to the incredible leaders and mentors she has had the privilege of working with.
Mike Mellon
Regional Executive Director: Region 3
Mike Mellon serves as the newly appointed Regional Executive Director for Region 3 of Imagine the Possibilities. Mike began his career as a Direct Support Professional in 1997 (prior to the merger) and was later appointed to Director of Services upon the merger in 2017. In 2023, Mike stepped into the role of Associate Regional Executive Director before assuming his current position. Throughout his career, Mike has focused on one main goal: to assist members with leading a life that is meaningful to them. He continuously aspires to find new ways to better the lives of the individuals he serves, including goals to integrate technology for members to increase their independence. Outside of Imagine, Mike is a dedicated community champion. He currently serves as a member of the Clayton County Brain Health Group and was previously a member of the Delaware County Community Transit Action Group.
Susie Ruchotzke
Regional Executive Director: Region 5
Susie Ruchotzke serves as the Regional Executive Director for Region 5 at Imagine the Possibilities. Susie began her work in 1997 as a Supported Living Coordinator. Since then, she has held five distinct positions before being entrusted with the duties of Regional Executive Director. Susie explains that she believes everyone deserves the opportunity to live a life that is meaningful to them, regardless of their ability level. Seeing people acknowledge their abilities, whether they succeed at what they are trying or not, has been a motivation and inspiration in Susie’s career. Susie is also proud to be serving 23 years and counting on the Community Services board in Maquoketa, IA. She strongly believes in the importance of having an excellent work ethic and giving back to one’s community when possible.
